C Jack Verver Jr.'s Obituary
Conrad Jack Verver Jr passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Presbyterian Hospital on
April 3, 2024. Jack was 52 years old. On January 12, 2022, Jack suffered a massive hemorrhagic
stroke. He fought courageously and faithfully for 2 years before God called him home.
Jack was born in Dallas, TX to Patricia and Conrad Jack Verver Sr. Born prematurely, Jack only
weighed 4lbs. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson HS in 1990 and attended college at The
University of Arkansas. He was a member of First Baptist Church Dallas.
Jack had a servant heart and was a friend to everyone he met. He was quick-witted and had an
amazing sense of humor, which made him a great salesman. Though Jack’s friendships were very
important to him, his family was his priority. His love for his nieces and nephew was beyond
measure.
Jack was extremely proud of his oldest niece attaining her internship dream. He loved to watch his
nephew play sports and was his biggest fan. He was so excited they attended LSU and was looking
forward to visiting them in Baton Rouge.
Jack was a father to his youngest 3 nieces spoiling them with love and affection as well as donuts
and Starbucks, whenever they asked. He loved taking them to the State Fair of Texas and Disney
World.
He enjoyed history and movies. Jack loved watching college sports and was always ready to call the
Hogs, “Woo Pig Sooie” and yell “Geaux Tigahs”. His love for baseball, that he and his dad shared,
was something he passed down to his nieces and nephew.
Jack’s faith in Jesus Christ was evident throughout his life. His family is comforted knowing he is
now in the arms of his Savior. During those 2 years Jack never questioned why this happened but
instead he chose to firmly trust in God’s plans for him.
Jack is preceded in death by his father, Conrad Jack Verver Sr. He is survived by his mother, Patricia
Verver; sisters, Francesca Saba and Hillary Verver; nieces, Jackie, Libby, Caity, and Ellie; and
nephew, Zach as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
