C. W. Lowrimore's Obituary
Clinton Wallace Lowrimore, C.W. to those who knew him, was born in Abilene, Texas on April 16, 1947. He passed away on February 23, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. C.W. was married to Linda Barnett Lowrimore, of Carrollton, for 17 years, having married on February 6, 2004 in Farmers Branch.
C.W. moved around a lot and tried several things; sold magazine subscriptions, Saladmaster cookware, raised cattle but what gave him the most joy was when he started delivering freight and traveling the nation. Seeing God's wonderful creations. He mostly enjoyed the mountains, He retired in April 2020 and said goodbye to his truck after delivering freight for 30 years.
He loved life almost as much as he loved the Lord. He had been a very active member of The Branch Church (Farmers Branch Church of Christ) & its Men's Life Group for over 30 years. He was an encourager and left friends everywhere he went.
He is preceded in death by his father, Laurel (L.C.) Lowrimore and his mother, Winnie May Roper Lowrimore. Also by his three siblings: Gordon, Joyce, and Royce
He is survived by his wife, Linda; and his family in Wichita, Kansas, son, Michael Peters; granddaughters, Jamie Wassel and Reece Alexander; and great-grandson, Lance Wassel. He is also survived by his step-sons: Brian (Stephanie) Kirkwood of Carrollton; Eddie (Donna) Kirkwood of Northlake; step-grandchildren Robert (Morgan) Brown stationed in Belgium with the United States Army; Lindsea Kirkwood of Denton; and Michael Kirkwood of Keller
A Celebration of Life will be April 17, 2021 from 2pm to 4pm at The Branch Church, 3035 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas, where he had been a member for 30+ years.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Branch Church - Men's Life Group or New Life Behavior Ministry in Corpus Christi, Texas.
