Cameron was my best and dear friend from elementary school right on thru high school. The treasured memories are so special. I recall how, as best buddies, we supported one another — especially during the youthful years of trying to figure out how to do life. I recently talked with Cameron on the phone, and we shared memories of such fun being two little boys riding straw-broom-pretend-horses in the deep Michigan snow. Cameron was smart, unpretentious and a gentle soul. Even though we lost some years of contact, we both knew we were best friends forever. Now, although I cannot hear Cameron's wonderful voice again, I shall treasure the memories we shared until I too am gone.
