Candice Kay (Candy) Bozeman's Obituary
Bozeman, Candice (Candy) age 63, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 23, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held at Park Cities Baptist Church, 3933 Northwest Parkway Dallas, TX 75225, in the Great Hall on Tuesday at 2:00pm, followed by a reception in Ellis Parlor. Candy was born on November 23, 1950 in Dallas to Carroll and Helen Woldt. She graduated from Plano High School in 1969. She married Lyndon Bozeman a year later, and they had three children. Candy was a dedicated mother, friend and witness for the Lord. Her cheerful personality, warm smile and unwavering love for Christ stood out to all with whom she came into contact. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, attending her weekly bible study group and taking walks around the park. She never met a stranger and never missed an opportunity to share her faith with others. Candy was preceded in death by her father, Carroll, and twin sister. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Lyndon; son, Brad Bozeman and wife, Monica; son, Bryan Bozeman and wife, Katie; daughter, Jacquelyn Coon and husband, Brad; mother, Helen Woldt; brother, Terry Woldt; grandchildren, Will, Keely, Pierce, and Stella; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Larry Anderson and UT Southwestern staff for their compassion and dedication to provide exceptional care for Candy over the last five years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Candy’s name at www.lls.org.
