Carl was a special cousin, along with his brother, Roland, and sister, Kitty. When you and the rest of the family would come to see us at Grandma & Grandpa Weiss in Enid, Oklahoma, all of you brought joy and delight into the household. It was so much fun. Yet, all of you had a difficult journey with the deaths of your mother and later your father. In spite of the sadness and grief of deep loss, the three of you forged ahead, but it was probably most challenging for Carl. And look what came out of such dark times: Carl, a life of love, care, faith, intelligence, and wonder. Carl has been a gift, and wished more time could have been spent with him. Thanks be to God for this special person!
