Carl Arthur Haynes' Obituary
We are deeply saddened at the sudden death of our beloved son and brother on Saturday, January 15, 2011. Carl was born July 26, 1968 to Gary and Dona Haynes. Carl’s first love was performing in front of a live audience. He played guitar, bass guitar and drums. Carl played in several local area bands over the last fifteen years. He wrote songs including “Spare Change Man” and “Globe Hopping Mama”. Carl was a sound man and roadie for Vince Vance and the Valiants when they went on a USO tour to Europe several years ago. Carl graduated from the Audio Engineering Program at Collin College in 2005. He worked at UT Southwestern Medical Center as a maintenance technician where he installed, reparired and maintained compressors and vacuum pumps. Carl also was skilled in HVAC. Carl had a keen sense of humor. He loved a good joke. Even though he could be quiet around people Carl had many friends. He always called his mother and sister on Mother’s Day and their birthday, and his stepmother on her birthday, Mother’s Day and Easter. Carl was always very good with children. He knew how to talk to them in a way that made them laugh. Carl is survived by his father Gary Haynes, his stepmother Luanne Haynes, his mother Dona Mularkey, his stepfather James Mularkey, his sister Dianne Stroman, her husband Roger Stroman and their children William and Isabella. Funeral services will be held at Wildwood Chapel, Restland Funeral Home in Dallas at 12:30 on Saturday, January 22, 2011.
