Carl E. Maxwell's Obituary
Carl E. Maxwell, 97, passed away on January 22, 2012 in Memphis, TN. Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Arlyn and Sister, Kathleen Tanner. Carl was born in Strawn, TX and lived his life in Dallas, TX. He was employed by The Traveler’s Insurance Company for more than 30 years until his retirement in 1977. Carl is survived by his son, Charles D. Maxwell (Lawana) of Germantown, TN., his grandson Michael Maxwell (Jesslyn) of Collierville, TN and granddaughter Morgan Walley (Brandon) of Madison, MS., his sister Aileen Maddox of Richardson, TX and nieces Kathy Mays of Plano, TX and Martha Howat of Oak Harbor, WA . There will be graveside services at Restland Cemetery in Dallas on Saturday, January 28th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the Family requests memorials to be sent to Gardens of Germantown, 3179 Professional Plaza Dr., Germantown, TN 38138 or to Highland Church of Christ, 400 N. Houston Levee, Cordova, TN 38018.
