Carl Robinson's Obituary
ROBINSON, CARL ‘ROBBY’ Born November 30, 1923 in New York City and passed away surrounded by his family August 7, 2008. He served in the Army from 1942-1947. Carl received a Bachelors degree in 1950 from the University of Colorado, where he played collegiate football. He earned a Masters degree from the University of Illinois in 1951. His early career was spent teaching Physical Education and as a coach at the high school level. In 1952, he began a career that spanned 33 years as a sporting goods manufacturer’s representative based in Dallas. He was an outstanding sports fan and most of all enjoyed his passion for playing golf. He will wait patiently to be reunited with dearest wife, Lois, his companion of almost 54 years. He is survived by wife Lois; son, Mark and daughter-in-law Laura; daughters, Shari Thayer and Dana Robinson; sister, Edna Frankel; nieces, Bea Friedenthal, Carrie Schatz; grandchildren, Josh, Cori, Greg and Kelly. He leaves wishing all family and friends a good life. A special thanks to Dr. Charles Connor and his staff and VNA (Eileen, Belinda, Lillian) and the rest of their staff.
