Carl Richard Smith, age 88, was born to parents Charlie Smith and Inez Wright on January 22, 1930, in Warsaw, Texas. He passed away on the morning of Saturday, May 5, 2018, in Plano, Texas. Carl will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and all who knew and loved him.The family requests that visiting hours be observed for Mr. Smith from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 13, 2018 in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. A funeral service for Carl Smith will follow at 3:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home followed by a reception in the lotus room. Interment will then take place after the funeral service in the Chapel Garden at Restland Cemetery.Funeral arrangements have been entrust to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.
