Carl Smith's Obituary
SMITH, CARL born September 30, 1937 in Anahuac, Texas and passed away April 28, 2014 in Plano, Texas. Preceding him in death are his parents, Anna Smith and Kyle Smith; sisters, Lucille Francis, Henretta Lyons, Misnia Simms, Lula Mae Mayes, Ella Mae Smith; brothers, Carlton Eugene Smith and Jessie James Smith. Surviving him are his wife, Martha Ann Smith; son, Carl Samuel Smith; daughter-in law, Shannon Littlejohn-Smith; grandsons, Noah Smith, Ian Ramseth and granddaughter, Ashley Smith. He is also survived by brothers, Floyd Smith, Kyle John Smith; sisters, Josephine Humphrey, Martha Jane Smith and Mary Jane Smith; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday May 2, 2014 at 11:30 AM at Wildwood Chapel, Restland Funeral Home. This will be followed by a celebration of his life officiated by Rev. April Johnson Bristow at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arbor Hills Memory Care Community and/or Heart to Heart Hospice.
