Carla Spurgeon's Obituary
Carla Spurgeon (Ashley), 57, formerly of East Jordan, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 30th, 2018 at Dallas, Texas. Carla was born to William and Carolyn (Stokes) Ashley in New Bedford, Massachusetts on November 22, 1961.Carla graduated from East Jordan High School in 1979. She excelled as a coach, mentor, and manager for the JAFRA cosmetics company. Carla enjoyed travelling with friends and family and had visited most of the contiguous United States.She is survived by her husband, C. Randolph (Randy) Bowers and her Mother, Carolyn Ashley (Stokes) of St. Claire Shores, Michigan. Carla is also survived by her brother Mitch (wife Kathy) of Jacksonville, Florida, her sister Catherine Rayner (husband Keith) of St. Claire Shores, and her sister Christine Chipman of Charlevoix, as well as three nieces and two nephews.Her Father, William Ashley predeceases Carla.A memorial service will be held later in the spring near her family homestead in East Jordan, Michigan.
