Carlene Conner's Obituary
Jessie Carlene Miller Conner was born on July 13, 1928, and passed away on April 14, 2009, at the age of 80. Carlene and husband J.C. Conner of Garland were happily married for 58 years. Carlene touched the lives of many children over the years through her ministry in the nursery and First Assembly of God, Garland. She also shared herself for many years working with the Girl Scouts, first a leader and later at the Administration office from which she retired. Carlene touched the lives of everyone she knew for the better. She is survived by husband, J.C., son Glenn Conner and wife Donna of Fort Worth; daughter Sue Baxter and husband Keith of Garland; daughter Jane Johnson and husband Dough of Corinth; daughter Linda Laube and husband Rick of Owasso, OK; granddaughter Jessica; granddaughter Darbi Glassburn and husband Cory of Lakeside City; grandson Clifton Baxter of Garland; grandson Mike Conner of Forth; granddaughter Stephani Laube, grandson Sean Laube, and granddaughter Bridgette Laube all of Owasso, OK; and great-grandson Maverick Glassburn of Lakeside City. She is also survived by three sisters, Esta Faye Hoffman of Burkburnett, Opal Tarver of Irving, and Jean Taylor and husband Thurman of Quitman.
