Carma Leah Low's Obituary
Carma Leah Crowell Low, age 83, was born April 3, 1939 in El Centro, California and went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2022 in Richardson, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald R. Low, her parents, James and Tessie Crowell, her sister Karleen McCallister and her brother William Crowell. She is survived by her children, Janet L. Kelly and husband Randy of McKean, PA, Jesse R. Low of Hutchins, TX, Evie J. Mandrell and husband Steve of Carrollton, TX; grandchildren Matthew Kelly of McKean, PA, Aimee White and husband Dan of Depew, NY and Olivia Mandrell of Carrollton; great grandchildren Gideon and Ezra White; sisters Carole Flowers of Valencia, CA, Connie Burcham of Manor, TX and brother Russell Crowell of Kansas City, KS.
Carma and her sisters, Carole and Connie, sang together from childhood into adulthood. As a youth she gave her life to Jesus Christ and committed to live her life for Him and to also try to bring others to God. She married Ronald Low on March 2, 1957. Together they served the Lord using their singing talent for 38 years until his death. After his death Carma continued to use her gift until she was no longer able. She was an example to her family and others of living for Jesus.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. January 3, 2023 at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX with Dr. Charles Hebert officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview, TX. Flowers may be sent to Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LeTourneau University, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave., Longview, TX 75602.
