Happy heavenly birthday Papa !
Happy Fathers Day Sweetie. Love and miss you terribly
Your birthday was the 16th, and you are missed. Love ya!
I am very thankful that I was able to know you.
I owned the Sears Store in Canton since 2002. He showed up one day pretending he couldn't read so I would put a spreader together for him. LOL That started one of the best relationships of my life. He stepped up when I lost my father who also befriended him in 2003. Your Grandpa became my girls Poppa Jim. We did everything together, I will never forget the first time you visited. How excited he was. Made him so Happy. Then to name the baby Carmela, he was overwhelmed. He cried with joy. That meant so much to him. The stories he shared about all the family made me fill as though I was part of it. Meeting Brother John, Vincent, Sam and Anthony and then supporting and loving Carm through his loss of each one. You coming back into his life made him hope again. He loved you very much!
Charlotte Marlowe and family send their regrets and condolences. Carmelo was a dear friend of the family and very close to my daughter Sharon. My husband was a Chaplain and met Carmelo at Sears Canton. They became friends and visited quiet often. Our family prayer is that you will find comfort knowing he is with our Lord and Savior.
I love you so much uncle always and forever and I'm sorry for not making it to canton to see you like I said I was going to do I LOVE YOU! Thank you for all the wonderful memories when I was younger and spoiling me like you would again I love you and I'm sorry….
I am missing calling my Grandpa…that's all.
Lit a candle in memory of Carmelo Scoma
Grandpa use to sing, "Oh where oh where can Carmela be, ohhhh where oh where can she be, with her tail cut short and her ears cut long, where oh where can she be." Someday Carmela will read this, I hope.
