Carol Coliz Curl's Obituary
Carol was born June 5, 1947 in Houston, TX to W. J. (Wally) and Martha Coliz. Raised in Arlington and Oak Cliff, she graduated from Justin F. Kimball High School in 1965. She attended the University of Arkansas where she received a Bachelor of Science in Education. She married Frank Curl in 1968. She is survived by her husband, Frank, son, John Curl (Kristi) and grandson Asher of Lewisville, TX and daughter Sally Hanna (Craig), grandson, Taylor and granddaughter, Hadley of Andover, KS. Additional survivors are sisters, Linda Grimes, Cinda Ferrell, Carla McDonald and brothers, Curtis Coliz and Clayton Coliz. Carol was a teacher, homemaker and volunteer. She had a twenty-five year association with Stonecroft Ministries where she held numerous positions. She was a past president of the Rotary Ann’s in Oklahoma City and a member of the Junior League of Richardson.
