Carol Ann Guilbert's Obituary
Guilbert, Carol Ann Crawford, gently passed away Wednesday May 23, 2012 in Dallas, Texas from a brief but valiant battle with brain cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Carol Ann was born on September 6, 1942 in Monroe, Louisiana. She was a graduate of Neville High School of Monroe Louisiana and attended both Mississippi Southern in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and North East Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana. Carol Ann will be remembered fondly for her generous spirit, her extreme love and devotion to her family and her passion for cooking and sharing meals with family and friends. Carol Ann was preceded in death by her parents, James Carroll Crawford and Frances Marion McCoy Crawford, her step-mother Persis Johns Crawford and her brothers Dan M. Crawford and James W. Crawford all of Monroe, Louisiana. Carol Ann is remembered lovingly by her children. Son Thomas Mark Guilbert of N. Richland Hills, Texas, Daughter Stephanie Guilbert Stanley and partner Cathy of Dallas, Texas and Son John Buckner Guilbert and wife Valerie of Dallas, Texas. She is remembered by her Grand Children, Brandon Michael Guilbert, Alex Stephen Curtis, Daniel Thomas Guilbert, Steven Michael Guilbert, Amanda Debra Guilbert and Sophia Kaylyn Guilbert. Her Niece Catherine Palmer and husband Dave of Richardson, Texas and Nephew James Crawford of Perdido Key, Florida, Great-Nieces Diane Palmer and Marley Crawford and multiple family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held for Carol Ann Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home from 3-5 pm in Dallas. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 28, 2012 from 5-7pm at Mulherns Funeral Home in Monroe, LA. Funeral Service and Burial will be held on Tuesday May 29, 2012 at Mulherns Funeral Home at 10 am and then Mulhern Cemetery of Monroe, Louisiana.
