Carol Jean McDowell's Obituary
MCDOWELL, CAROL JEAN HAYES 66, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Carol was born on September 15, 1946, a daughter of late James and Lois Hayes. She graduated college from the University of Texas, Arlington and spent many years married to her late husband Benny W. Steinmetz. Carol was a life long member of East Dallas Christian Church where she served as an active volunteer. Carol was fortunate to find love again later in life and spent ten joyous years with husband Ronald A. McDowell. Carol was a very kind and gentle soul, she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving husband, Ronald A. McDowell and sisters, Sharon Swink and Cindy McCarthy and numerous nieces, nephews, step-children and step-great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 2:00 PM TO 4:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday, November 19,2012 at 10:00 AM at Restland Funeral Home.
