Carol Ann Murphy's Obituary
Carol Ann Murphy born May 20, 1941 ascended into heaven on August 26, 2021.
Carol was born in Wichita, Kansas to Rex and Lola Hutchinson, the oldest of three children and always the ultimate caregiver/caretaker. Carol graduated from Eldorado Kansas High School as the very best of everything especially unconditional love, cheerleading and fun.
Left to cherish Carol’s memory are, her sister, Cheryl Golightly, her brother, Danny Hutchinson, and his daughter, Lisa and Jeff Fox and their daughter, Katie, her step-children, Kim and Dicky Selzer and their daughter, Abby, and Brett and Brittainy Murphy and their sons, Mason and Maddox. In addition, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends including the very special “Kansas Girls”.
She was predeceased by her father, Rex Hutchinson, mother, Lola Hutchinson, and beloved nephew, Chad Golightly. Her adorable and so loved dog, Kobe, also preceded her in death.
For many years, her friends from Kansas made a special trip to Texas to enjoy her love and hospitality or she went to Kansas to visit them. Family and friends were always welcomed to her lovely home and showered with love and attention. Carol will always be missed and loved by so many people.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Masks are required to attend the service.
