Carol Ann Simmons' Obituary
Carol Ann Simmons, an adored mother, grandmother, and wife, passed away on June 22, 2025, in Garland, Texas, at the age of 58. Born on February 11, 1967, Carol's life was a testament to her strength, kindness, and vibrant spirit.
Carol's greatest accomplishment was undoubtedly her family. She successfully raised four children, demonstrating incredible resilience and love as a single mother from a young age. Her dedication to her children laid the foundation for a close-knit family, which later grew to include seven cherished grandchildren. She embraced life with a feisty spirit and a heart full of fun, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Outside of her family, Carol found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was an excellent cook, known for preparing delicious, creative meals that brought everyone together. She never missed an episode "Wheel of Fortune" and would often beat her husband and the contestants to the answers! A lover of nature, she found joy in the beauty of flowers and wildlife.
Carol's kind and fun-loving nature will be deeply missed by her husband, Roger Simmons; her four children, Andrew Riddle, Kaylee Simmons, Gracie Simmons, and Preston Simmons; and her seven grandchildren, Isaac, Katelynn, Alora, Violet, Preston, Liola, and Arya; and her siblings, Kathy Cox, Larry Cox, Ken Cox, and Tricia Harris as well as a wide circle of friends and extended family. Her legacy of love, resilience, and joy will continue to live on in their hearts.
