Carole May Heard's Obituary
Carole May Carmolli Heard, beloved wife and mother, passed away on Tuesday, Dec 15 2020 in Dallas Texas. Carole was born on March 24 in 1935 in Medford, Massachusetts.
Preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Kimberly Heard and sister, Dorothy Koski.
Survived by her husband, Roy Heard; daughter Pam and her husband Mike; son Ken and his wife Brenda; son Don and his wife Denise; daughter Sandra and her husband, Mike; brother E. Marston Carmolli and his wife Ethel; sister Jane Ribble; brother David Carmolli and his wife Judy; grandchildren Ben, Daniel, Andrew, Carly, Cullen, Darby, Matt, Sydney, Dakota, Donavon, Dylan and Frances.
She graduated high school in Medford, Massachusetts and spent almost every summer in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, one of her favorite places in the world and one where she continued to visit whenever possible.
After graduation, Carole moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to live near her sister, Jane. While there, she met Roy Heard and they wed soon after. Becoming a mother was one of Carole’s greatest dreams and children arrived soon. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them.
Carole, Roy and their two oldest children moved to Texas in 1962. Two additional children followed and Carole’s dream of a large happy family was achieved. Her joy grew as she became a grandmother. She relished this role. She had a caring personality and lived her life with the mottos of ‘family first’ and ‘love always’.
Services will be held on Dec 21, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery 1300 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75243.
During the final years of her life, Carole was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, a disease that effected her energy level and muscle function. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Myasthenia Grvis Foundation of America 1707 N. Randall Rd. Suite 200, Elgin, IL, 60123.
