Carole Ann Laitz's Obituary
Carole Ann Laitz (lovingly called Doo Woo) passed away on May 12, 2023 at the age of 80. She was born on January 11, 1943 in Cleburne, Texas to Geraldine and Rolene Crow Barker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gary, her mother Geraldine Barker, her father Rolene Crow Barker, and her brother Gerald Barker.
Carole is survived by her daughter Gabrielle Fulbright and son in law Justin Fulbright of Mckinney, grandchildren Jayden and Kaitlyn Fulbright, sister Linda Snelson of Cleburne, sister Sharon Schultz of Glen Rose, sister Janice Holliday of Cleburne, and a nephew and numerous nieces.
Carole grew up in Cleburne, TX and moved to Dallas where she worked at a law firm. After marrying her husband and having a daughter, she became a homemaker. Carole spent her time volunteering with her daughter’s school organizations and the Chi Omega Mother’s Club. She loved to travel especially to Colorado and on cruises. One of her greatest joys was becoming a grandmother.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 22 at Restland Memorial Park Cemetary in the Whispering Waters 1 section.
