Carolyn Cole's Obituary
On November 13th, Carolyn Cole, at 68, spread out her wings and flew to be with the Lord. Carolyn was born March 5th, 1951 to Jerome and Clarice Cole in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was living the “retired” life. She enjoyed growing closer to God as a member of Saint Matthias Catholic Church in Rockwall, Texas.Carolyn was a sweet hearted woman who did not judge others. She would also give the shirt off her back to help others. She loved spending time with her family and friends over a nice meal.Unlike most, she was given a second chance in February 2013. She had a series of strokes causing her to retire from her accounting manager position at JMEG. Dr’s then had to perform a bypass surgery on her brain. A tricky and not a promising outcome procedure. God obviously had other plans for her and gave her 6 years and 8 months extra to her life. Thanks be to God!She is survived by her 2 daughters, Sharon McEntire and Angela Rivera (son in law, John Rivera). She had 5 grandkids, Justin Cole, Karol Anne McEntire, Alicia Ojeda, Michael Ojeda, and Marisella Rivera; 3 step grandkids: Madeline, Rachel and Savannah Rivera; She also had 1 great granddaughter, Kali Cole. She has 1 surviving sister, Donna Contanza, (sister in law, Pat Bufkin) and 1 preceded brother, Larry Cole and many other loving family members.A celebration of life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Restland Memorial Chapel, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.In Lieu of Flowers Carolyn would have preferred you to make donations in her name to Saint Matthias for any of their numerous charities: Orphanage in Acuna, Ministries for the homeless, India funeral burial grounds or Angel Tree. You can visit the link at www.saintmatthias.net and click on “Contact” to make your donation. Thank you and God Bless.
