I will never forget the day I turned around while shooting my bow at Bellows only to see the most wonderful smile on the face of a lady standing behind me. She looked at me like she knew me. I was scared to speak because I was afraid I must know her but couldn’t remember from where. Within a year she was one of my best friends. She, Cliff Griggs and I traveled all over Texas promoting Texas Field Archery. She was such a gifted writer. She was the real editor of the TFAN when I had that position. She became the editor when I became President. She would take my Presidents Reports and make me sound smart! She was so encouraging and supportive. Technology was changing so fast but when I asked her if she could do something she had never done on the computer, she would say let me call Larry and I will learn how to get it done. She was full of life and made the world a better place! TFAA was a better organization because of her….I know I was a better person having known her! Ande
