Carolyn Horton Dalton's Obituary
Carolyn Horton Dalton, 84, of Richardson, Texas passed away on May 19, 2020 in Richardson, Texas. She was born on April 23, 1936 to Griff and Mabel Horton in Fort Payne, Alabama. She married Joseph Dalton on April 16, 1994 in Richardson, Texas. She worked for the Department of Education, Civil Service for 40 years. Carolyn was an avid golfer and loved traveling to various golf courses to practice her swing. She had a love for animals, especially dogs and horses. She and her husband, Joe, loved to travel the world. When not traveling, they enjoyed the company of their friends and family. She had a beautiful smile that would brighten the room. She was kind and loving and brought joy to those lives she touched. She will be missed. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Martin of Houston, Texas, Melony Turmer of Owasso, Oklahoma, Rebecca Kanoff of Canton, Texas, and Julie Bell of Dallas, Texas; sons, Joe Walker of Lexington, Georgia, and David Dalton of Melissa, Texas; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Griff and Mabel Horton, and sister, Rhonnye Horton.
