Carolyn Nichols Kirklen born to William H. and Carrie Belle Nichols on May 3, 1926 in West, TX and passed away April 11, 2015 in Dallas, TX. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Charles A. Kirklen in 1983; brothers, Joe Nichols, Bill Nichols, Lee Nichols, Tommy Nichols, Raymond Nichols, George “Woody” Nichols, Jack Nichols, Parks Nichols and sister, Mary Francis “Sis” McMillan. Carolyn is survived by children, Laura Kirklen and husband, Todd McCall, Linda Kirklen, Chuck Kirklen and wife, Janet; grandchildren, Kurt Futrell, Kasey Futrell Taylor and husband, Toby, Kevin Kirklen, Kyle Kirklen, and great-grandson, Jack Taylor. The service for Carolyn Kirklen will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 12:00 noon to 12:45 PM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. Those wishing to visit following the service may gather at Cheddar’s Casual Café, 12355 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
