Carolyn Elizabeth Marx's Obituary
Age 88, died June 30, 2015. She was born in Blackshear, Georgia on November 6, 1926. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Marx whom she married April 20, 1946. She is survived by son, Kenneth Marx of Houston, Texas; daughter in law, Mary Seals Marx; daughter and son in law, Karen and Larry Cook of Crestwood Kentucky; grandsons, Chris and Kevin Cook; daughter, Mary Laura (Lauree) Rogers; grandchildren, Monica and Justin Dismore’; son and daughter in law, Keith and Jennie Marx; grandchildren, Perrin, Gibson, Logan, and Regan Marx; 7 great grandchildren; and sister, Noreen Kruise of Copperas Cove, Texas. She was a member of Creekside Baptist Church in Richardson since moving to Richardson in 1963. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, July 3, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Creekside Baptist Church in Richardson. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Buckner Children’s Home.
