I am so sorry to hear of Carolyn's passing! I believe she has passed to a better world, but I feel for her family, friends, and church family, who were so important to her. Carolyn worked as my teaching aide for a year when I was at Lawrence Elementary, and then I worked with her class when she started the bilingual PPCD at Achziger Elementary. Carolyn was a bright, happy, positive force. She was wonderful with the children, and I loved and respected her, both professionally and for who she was. I came back to Mesquite and met her for lunch a few years ago, before her health challenges started. It was so great to see her. It is so strange to think that she is gone. My prayers are with her husband and family as you work to move forward and move through your grief.
