Mrs. Carrie Ann Derrenbacher's Obituary
Born December 4, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas and passed away on July 23, 2007 at her home in Frisco, Texas. Carrie is survived by her husband, Eric, her son, Daniel Rogge of Farmers Branch, TX, her mother, Beverly Clark of Frisco, TX, and her aunt Judy and uncle Wayne Wallis of Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Clark, of Farmers Branch, TX. Carrie graduated from R.L. Turner High School in 1973 and received a degree in advertising from Texas Tech University in 1977 where she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority. She worked for many years for the Soutland Corporation, where she was media manager for 7-Eleven. She was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church in Dallas. Carrie made many close and lifelong friends whevever she went and was loved by many people whose lives she touched with her humor, compassion, and empathy. Although she struggled for many years with mitochondrial myopathy, she never lost the spark that made her so special, nor did her faith in God waiver. Her family was her greatest joy and she, in turn, was the greatest joy to them.
