Carrolyn Sue Hardy's Obituary
Carrolyn Sue Hardy passed away January 7, 2012. Sue or “Susie” was born October 14, 1934 in Corsicana, Texas, and was the daughter of the late Allie Mae and John T. Goulding. Sue married Thomas George Hardy Jr., her high school sweetheart, June 27, 1954. They were married 36 years until Tom’s death June 18, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Bill Goulding and Traynum Goulding. Sue was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. We will miss her dearly. She is survived by her daughters, Kit Renee Hardy and Kim Diane Hardy Wolfe, and son Mark Douglas Hardy; by her son-in-law Gary Wolfe and daughter-in-law Linda Hardy. She is also survived by her five grandchildren who she adored; Taylor Joe and Courtney Diane Wolfe; and Mark Douglas, Jr. (DJ), Thomas Luke and Elliott Neumann Hardy. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, January 9 at Restland Funeral Home. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, January 10 at Church of the Epiphany Episcopal Church in Richardson. Burial will be held at Restland immediately following the mass. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Methodist Richardson Medical Center Foundation, 401 W. Campbell Road, Richardson, TX 75080; or the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 (all donations will go to services in North Texas).
