Carter Minor's Obituary
MINOR, CARTER Born April 20, 1923 in Omaha, Nebraska and passed away September 11. 2007. He is preceded in death by wife, Bea Minor; son, Charles Carter Minor III and grandson, Matthew Thomas Dunn. He is survived by his daughter, Lynne Minor Dunn; son, Mark Minor; son, Todd Minor and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Jeffrey Dunn, Brian Dunn, Amy Dunn, Travis Minor, Sgt. Peter Cress, Nicolas Cress and Christopher Cress; great grandchildren, Rori Dunn, Ellie Dunn and David Cress. Mr. Minor was a veteran in World War II and served as Captain in the U.S. Air Force as a bombardier. He was shot down, captured and successfully escaped the enemy. He graduated from University of Illinois with a major in architecture. Mr. Minor established his own architecture business for over 50 years in Dallas, focusing on restaurants and commercial properties. He was a lifetime Mason.
