Cary Fred Buehring's Obituary
Cary Fred Buehring, 73, of Dallas, TX died on Wednesday March 24, 2021 due to recurrent health complications. Cary was born September 6, 1947 to E. Fred Buehring and Cathryne (Wallace) Buehring in Dallas, TX. Upon graduating from St. Mark’s School of Texas in 1965; Cary spent much time traveling, broadening his spiritual horizons beyond Christianity to include elements of Buddhism and the Hare Krishna movement, before meeting Carol Costello Buehring, the mother of his children, and starting a family in 1982.
Cary spent much of his life focused on business and the stock market; but was an ardent supporter of charitable causes; who enjoyed family, football, boating, and burgers – for a time, you were just as likely to find him navigating Bahamian waters on his beloved “Living Life Too” as you were to find him enjoying a meal in his Cadillac at Keller’s Drive-In.
He is survived by his son; William Buehring and wife Gabriela, son; Michael Buehring and partner Kenneth Jefferson, and grandchildren; William “Liam” Buehring Jr., Jackson “Jackie” Buehring, and Ella Buehring.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wallace “Wally” Buehring.
There will be a viewing at Restland in Dallas, TX on Thursday April 8th from 1-5PM to be followed by a private funeral.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to North Texas Food Bank
