Mrs. Catherine Louise Jacobs' Obituary
JACOBS, CATHERINE MERLE born November 9, 1931 and passed away July 3, 2007. Catherine was preceded in death by her spouse of 37 years, John Merle, spouseof 8 years, V.E. (Jake) Jacobs, and son, Bert Merle. She is survived by her sons, Darryl Merle and wife Linda, James Sampson and wife Mary, Michael Merle and wife Debbie, James Merle, Kenny Merle and wife Janie; daughter, Patti Weatherred and husband Tom; daughter-in- law, Carole Merle. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She left behind countless friends and a large extended family. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. A rosary will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007 in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2007 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 214 S. Garland Ave., Garland, TX 75040.
