Cathy Yvette Little's Obituary
Little, Cathy Yvette Heitman Passed into God’s loving arms on Sunday morning, June 27, 2010 at the age of 57. Visitation from 6:00pm-8:00pm will be at Restland Funeral Home, Dallas, on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. The funeral will be in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Cemetery on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Cathy was born to Beulah McFerrin Little and Jimmy Clayton Little n Fort Worth, Texas June 6, 1953. She graduated from Lake Highlands High School and North Texas State University. She had a varied and rewarding career, working in recent years as a paralegal and legal secretary. Her many interests throughout her life included dancing, playing the flute, baton twirling, water skiing, snow skiing, scuba diving, karate (black belt), but most of all helping others. She participated in many charitable and public service activities, including Bar None, and the citizens’ auxiliary of the Garland and Rockwall police and firefighter’s associations. Her gentle and kind spirit will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. She is survived by sisters Ann Smith, Reese Lewandowski, Debbie McKinnon, Tammie Little, their loving and beloved families, and brother, Rocky Little. Cathy was also an animal lover, and is survived by her faithful beagle, Sandy. Cathy’s beautiful, generous, and loving spirit is a great blessing to all who knew and loved her. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. Glory be to God.
