My heart goes out to you at the loss of your wife, mother, and grandmother. I'm so sorry, Dr. Wemp, for your loss of day-to-day companionship and love from your beautiful wife. I had the joy of taking a Christian women's class from Mrs. Wemp at Liberty in 1974 or so. I also had the express joy of seeing your smiling face in the church services at Liberty, walking around, smiling and beaming forth with love for us. Don't know if you'll remember me, the "red-headed" girl, but I certainly remember you both and thank God that I had the privilege of knowing both of you in this life. Much love, Debbie.

I have not meet Celeste personally, so with her husband Sumner. I am one of the thousands that Sumner is mentoring abroad. "…The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised" Job1:21KJV Whatever the Lord does, it is still the best for us, many times, I don't understand it, and so with many Christians. This is one of the most profound things He does to surprise us when we see Him, then only then, we will understand. I will pray for Sumner and his love ones for comfort. Thank you Sumner and Celeste. Praise God for this wonderful example of Christ Jesus and His love for us. Mrs. Wemp was an awesome teacher of the Word. My Bible (especially Proverbs) is marked up with notes from her teachings from when she visited our church, and taught us from the Word. She will be missed, but I know that Doctor Wemp would want all of us to remember her for what she represented – the Lord Jesus Christ and His love for us. I praise God for allowing us to meet her and learn from her.

Thank you for obeying our LORD Jesus Christ. Now you are with Him, maybe you have that pretty "red hat" on. I loved it, so becoming to such a becoming lady. Thank you Sumner for keeping Celeste in comfort, holding and cradling her in your arms, a comfort unmatched by anyone here on earth. Now is is her LORD's arms, the home of comfort.
