Celia Anne Jones' Obituary
Celia Anne Jones, 43, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Celia was born Celia Anne Cessna to Ronnie and Cornelia Cessna on February 24, 1975. She has one brother Dr. Aaron Clay Cessna of Lantana, Texas. She grew up in Richardson and graduated from Berkner High School where she was a competitive swimmer. She went on to earn a BA degree from UTD. In 1998, she married Jason Edward Jones, and they resided in Richardson. She is survived by husband, Jason Jones; mother, Cornelia Blair; father, Ronnie Cessna; stepmother, Margaret Cessna; brother, Dr. Aaron Clay Cessna; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Celia was known for her kindness, playfulness and tender heart. She loved animals and worked with dogs for several years. She leaves behind many broken hearts, who miss her sweet presence. Gone too soon! She leaves her family with many precious, fun memories. Rest in peace sweet girl. A Memorial Reception will be held at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Tx 75243, Saturday, July 7, from 1-4 pm. Will be come and go at your leisure. In lieu of flowers, Celia would want donations made to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) or the animal rescue organization of your choice.
