Chad Lamont Jefferson's Obituary
Chad Lamont Jefferson, 46, passed away on July 21, 2022 in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. He graduated from Naaman Forest High School in Garland and holds a degree from the University of North Texas. Senior Corporal Jefferson was a 20-year veteran of the Dallas Police Department.
He was a huge sports fan, but football held a special place in his heart. He was a lifelong fan of the Miami Dolphins and the Florida State Seminoles. Chad enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and talking trash about pretty much anything! He was a big man with a gentle heart, infectious smile, and a laugh that would fill the room.
Chad leaves behind his wife, Tonya, and their five children Jacobi, Jaston, Jaryn, Jalen, and Jevan. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Mary, brothers Michael, Jr. (Lisa), and Jonathan, sister Nichole Howell, nieces Kamryn, Bri, Natalie, and Kendall and nephew Aaron. Chad also leaves behind a huge extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and the entire Hamilton Park community, which he represented with pride.
