I used to throw touchdown passes to Chad in the 8th grade. 30 yeas Later he used to come park his squad car at my house and have lunch with me. One time I was hit by a car in downtown Dallas and he was there to help me, not with a S on his chest, that was hidden under his uniform and badge. Dallas and the world lost a hero and great person.
I was a class mate of Chad’s in the police academy 20 years ago. He was a bright spot for sure! Calm
Under pressure and happy disposition. His nickname in our class was ‘chops’ i don’t know why, but it fit him well. He always brought a smile to my face every time i saw him!
