Chandra Lang Molloy's Obituary
Chandra Wilson Molloy passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 51 after a valiant fight against Leukemia. She is the beloved daughter of Sylvia Tuck Wilson of Allen, Texas. Chandra shared her life with her family: Ken Molloy, her husband for 29 years; their daughter, Paige Molloy Hancock, of Lafayette, Tennessee and her husband, Wesley, and children, Paisley (3) and Cole (1). She was proceeded in death by her father, Darrell Wilson. Born in Lebanon, Tennessee, Chandra spent her childhood surrounded by her large extended family in Macon County, Tennessee and graduated high school in Richardson, Texas. She made her home in Richardson and was a longtime employee of the Richardson Independent School District. “Chan” touched the hearts of everyone with a light and love of life that cannot be matched. Her wit was quick and clever, and her laugh was infectious. She relished her role as “Granny Channy” in recent years, and she showered her countless friends and family with affection, attention, support, love, and laughter. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be held at The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, Texas at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 26, 2016. Graveside services and burial will be held at Hayesville Cemetery in Macon County, Tennessee.
