Charles James Allie's Obituary
Charles James Allie passed away on November 6, 2008, at age 71, from a massive stroke. Charles (Chuck) was born August 15, 1937, in Highland Park, Michigan. He lived in the Dallas area for the last 18 years of his life. He had a long career in sales, most of which was in the auto industry, and lived a good life in McKinney, Texas, with his beloved wife of many years, Ali. He served our country in the United States Marine Corps, and was honorably discharged after two periods of enlistment. Chuck survived a recent bout with colon cancer, and was just completing radiation treatment. He was well respected and loved and will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. Chuck is survived by his beloved wife, Ali, of McKinney, Texas, and 5 children: Kathryn Terry (Anthony), of Katy, TX, Rosemary Miller (Scott), of Topeka, KS, David (Stacey), of Plant City, FL, Christopher (Lisa), of Pinckney, MI, and Steven, of Dallas, TX; 8 grandchildren; Justin, Jordan, McKenna, Brian, Brooke, Stephanie, Danielle, and Jessica, one great-grandchild, Cameron; and sister, Darlene Rains, of Toledo, OH. He was preceded in death by his sister Wendy Ray, of Houston, TX; and parents, Charles and Josephine. Services will be held at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, TX, on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 10:00 am, with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
