Mr. Charles M. Bailey Jr., affectionately known as “Sonny”, passed away peacefully at 5:15 pm, Sunday July 29, 2018, in Dallas, Texas. He was born Monday, October 29, 1945 to his loving and thoughtful parents Charles Melton and Martha (Proctor) Bailey. He was 72 years of age.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Restland Funeral Home from 6 to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 3, 2018. Please stop by the reception desk and the funeral home staff will escort you back to state rooms C-D. The service for Mr. Bailey will be at 12:00 pm, Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Restland Memorial Park in the Abbey Chapel. Rev. Dr. Michael Waco will officiate. Following the service, there will be a short procession to Section T at Restland Memorial Park where Mr. Bailey will be laid to rest beside his mother.To a great father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and beloved friend to many. We love you.
