Born on April 9, 1937 in Jasper, TN and passed away on December 10, 2008 in Mesquite, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Bennett; parents, Charles, Sr. and Sara Lou Bennett; and brother, Kenneth Bennett. He is survived by children: Cindy Ladvala and husband Bill of Whitefish, MT, Bettye Cromeans and husband Gary of Mesquite, TX; Charla Jackson and husband Bart of Bellville, TX; Ginger Marsh and husband Bret of Garland, TX, Erick Bennett and wife Bethany of Everett, WA, Carol Bennett and husband Clay of Forney, TX, and Kenny Harris of Conway, AR; siblings: Bettye Lutrick and husband Donald, Diane Gibson and husband Johnny, Jennie Jannise and husband Nalton, John Bennett and wife Barbara, and sister-in-law, Carolyn Bennett;16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren plus one on the way. Visitation will be from 6 to 8PM Friday December 12, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 3:30PM Saturday December 13, 2008 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
