Charles Dale Bouis' Obituary
BOUIS, CHARLES DALE was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, on August 7, 1939, and died at the age of 74 in his home on September 1, 2013. He was a retired letter carrier with 28 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service. He never met a stranger and his outgoing personality brightened the day of new and old friends alike. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Ashton and Wildre Bouis, and his brothers, Ashton Jr. and Raymond Bouis. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maxine; his son Jeffrey and wife Deborah, Frisco; granddaughters Kate and Abby; niece Diane Dearmore and daughter Rachel of Santa Rosa, California; his sisters Frances Adkins and husband Wayne, Carrollton, and Rena Worsham and husband Tommy, Shreveport; sister-in-law Sarah Bouis, Shreveport; and many other nieces, nephews, and loving family members. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Dallas First Church of the Nazarene.
