Charles Owen Buzzard's Obituary
Charles Owen Buzzard was born January 8, 1944, to Lee and Mabel (Marcum) in Ridgeway, Missouri. He graduated high school and continued to NW Missouri State. He met and married Linda Ellen Dewey on November 11, 1967, in Columbus, Kansas. He got into surveying with his brother Gene and this became his passion and career until his passing. He worked at Mobile for 20 years, including working in Saudi Arabia and Alaska on pipelines. He also worked for a couple other companies and started his own surveying company where his wife helped with the business as she was retried from her nursing career. He was registered in multiple states and travelled a lot, going through everything from deserts to swamps in everything from boats to buggies.
Charles and Ellen always had cats they loved. Most recently was a white rescue cat named Snow that was Charles best buddy. They were quite the pair.
Charles was kind and compassionate, loved by many friends and neighbors.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Ellen (2022), his brother Gene (Marjorie). He is survived by his sister Virginia Straub of Kansas City.
