Charles "Charlie" Ernest Hamilton's Obituary
Charles "Charlie" Ernest Hamilton of Richardson, Texas left this earth to be with our Heavenly Father on April 1, 2021. Charlie was born in Farmersville, Texas on August 18, 1934 to Lloyd and Christine Hamilton. He was raised in Tulia, Texas.
Charlie married the love of his life Jackie Jones Hamilton on February 9, 1973. He and Jackie were married for 48 years. Charlie worked in the automobile industry for over 40 years and served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army. He was the President of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and a volunteer search and rescue team member for McKinney, Texas. Charlie was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling. He was a lifelong animal lover and his amazing dogs General, and Chloe were extra special to him. Charlie loved and cherished his family, and nothing brought him more joy than spending time with Jackie, his children, and grandchildren.
Charlie is survived by his wife Jackie, sons Christopher Hamilton (Ellie) of Murphy, Texas; Michael Hamilton (Stacy) of Plano, Texas, and daughter Vicki Hamilton Quattlebaum of Sherman, Texas. He also leaves behind 9 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, a brother Alton Hamilton, and a sister, Terrye Turpin. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law, and several siblings.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. A service at the graveside will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00am.
