Hello All – Charlie is now officially retired in Zachar Bay at Tayla's Beach. He sure found a good fishin' hole. The tide went out and he stayed around a little longer. We really want to thank all the Zachar Bay Lodge family for their most gracious hospitality. Special thanks to Andy's wife Linda (Tayla's mom) for the camera work in the misty rain. They really loved him around here and he is missed. Mike & Eugene

Thoughts of Charlie Charlie was a very shy, sensitive, caring man, he may not have shown it but he was in his heart. He was a good and royal friend to my late husband Lee Gonzales and Lee to him. Lee and Charlie looked out for each other, they had a special friendship. Charlie never wanted anyone to fuss over him or pamper him, but he loves it. He would have shared anything he had with anyone if they needed it, but he would have never ask or take a thing for himself. Every time he went fishing in Alaska he always brought fish back for us, love it and will miss that, I would always cooked something up for the guys at work and he would send a note or message with Lee about how good it was and when was the next meal coming. Charlie will be missed, but I know he not along anymore, I know his friend Lee was waiting with open arms for him and their both are woot-n and hollowing right now, I'm sure and I'm glad that Lee has his friend again. A friend Diane Gonzales
Charlie will be remembered by all who knew him as great friend and coworker.
Rest in peace, Charlie. We love you and wish there had been more time to spend with you here on earth, though we know you are in a better place! All our love and support to the Gibson family, Wayne and Terri
