Charles Earl Collins' Obituary
Born on December 13, 1925 in Nocona, Texas and passed away June 3, 2009 in Dallas, Texas. He was a veteran of WWII in the Air Force and was a tail gunner on the B24. Branch Manager of GMAC in Austin, a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Austin, the Austin Exchange Club, Charter and Lifetime member of Central Texas Wood Carvers and Wood Turners Club. He is survived by three daughters, Charlene Collins Browning and husband Bovie, Amy Collins Rush and husband Kevin, Mindy Collins Beaty and husband Doug; and grandchildren, Chance Browning, Cody Browning, Collin Browning, Sarah Watson Barnard and husband Bryan, and Jason Watson. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday June 7, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Service will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday June 8, 2009 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
