Loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Charles was born April 2, 1923 in Frisco, Texas to Avery and Bobbie Collinsworth and passed away December 13, 2015 in Farmersville, Texas. Charles was a proud WWII Veteran having served in Okinawa. He married the love of his life, Earlene on December 19, 1946. Later in life becoming a Baptist Deacon. Preceded in death by: his parents: AB and Bobbie Collinsworth; 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and 1 grandson. Charles is survived by his wife of 69 years, Earlene Collinsworth; sons, Gary Collinsworth, wife Alice, Richard Collinsworth, wife Rhonda; daughters, Judy Benoit, husband Ronnie, Cindy Redwine, husband John; brother, Bob Collinsworth and wife, Evelyn; grandchildren, Raina Cortez, Jason Smith, Michael Collinsworth, Brian Benoit, Amy Cortez, Chris Smith, Taylor Collinsworth; 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
