Charles Collins Davis Jr. was born on November 15, 1926 in Jacksonville, Florida and passed away on January, 18, 2015 in Kemp, Texas. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Clara and Charles Davis Sr.; wife, Dorothy Davis; and many brothers and sister. Charles is survived by his 2 sons, Charles (Bud) C. Davis III, and Gary Davis; one daughter, Carol Davis; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Charles enjoyed spending his time gardening and reading. He will be missed by the many friends, family, and neighbors that knew him. The service for Charles Davis Jr. will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 3:00pm at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
