I agree, as Daddy's first born, I was born in a military camp during Viet Nam in Okinawa in 1960. Times were tough, parents divorced when I was 4, I last saw Daddy with big Christmas gifts at 7 and since, just a handful of times til lastly when I was training for NWA and visited him in '95. But we kept up writing and talking on the phone together, my first letter from him, I still have from 1972 marked APO SF. When I was moved to HI on the reversion of Okinawa to Japan on 5/15/72, the next day, I got a phone book and deciphered the military phone line to find Daddy. I only knew his name and Kadena and Air Force. 2 weeks later, I got a letter from him!! Til then, I didn't even know if he was alive or where he was, I was so happy. It's nice that Daddy had a family member like you that kept in touch with him, Daddy had a hard childhood. He can rest in Heaven and deserves all the glory for what a great DAddy he was for all of us. He was always there in the background praying for us. Much Love and Aloha, Christina Diesch Billow

Daddy was always the best Father a daughter could have. He blessed me from behind, with prayers and made my dreams come true in life. I think that's why Daddy did not want us girls to know that he was sick, not to worry us. For us, Daddy was and will be always behind us making our dreams come true. I love you, Daddy. Christina
We all have fond memories of dining, dancing, and drinking! Chuck and Lucy were true and loyal friends to us in our darkest hours. Chuck will be greatly missed by all and especially his "guardian angel", Lucy. She took the best care of Chuck when he became so very sick. Our condolences to to her and her son, Tony, and wife, Amber and to all of those family members that will miss him so…….You are in our thoughts and prayers…..Bob & Norma Chaffee

Lucy, Tony and family. Charles was my beloved cousin and friend. He and I grow up together in Milwaukee and stayed in touch all these many years. My memories of Charles as we grew up are wonderful. He was always kind and caring and fun to be around. When he married Lucy it was the best thing that he ever did. I know how happy she made him. Even though we were miles apart he was and will remain in my heart and my prayers forever. Love you all Kathy Jensen & Peter
