DYESS, CHARLES “DAN” Born August 14, 1927 in Taylor, TX to Dan and Lola Dyess. Died Sept. 11, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. He spent his early working years in highway construction; later going into heavy equipment sales. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Betty; sons, Danny and Jeff Dyess; son and wife, J.D. and Anne Dyess; grandchildren, Christian, Sarah, David and Maria Dyess; and sister, Lola Lee Zinda.
